Attaining Educational Goals
Through the generous support and passion of our donors, we are able to award scholarships each year to the next generation of leaders shaping our community. Our scholarship programs allow staff to engage with local students during the application process, while community leaders and donors volunteer on the scholarship committees to recommend recipients. Scholarship Spotlight
The Cash Family Scholarship is an annual scholarship created by Michael G. and Brenda J. Cash. The scholarship is available to graduating seniors of Mt. Vernon High School planning to pursue a healthcare degree (e.g. medicine, nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy) at any accredited college or university. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average (4.0 scale) and provide all required supplemental requirements.
Destiny Morgan was the recipient of the scholarship in 2022 and now attends Campbellsville University, pursuing a degree in Exercise Science.
